ORDER

This Court, by order dated 30.01.2014 in W.P.No.2476 of 2014, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2013, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.146, dated 19.06.2012, and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks. http://www.judis.nic.in

R.SUBBIAH, J., ssv 2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 30.01.2014 passed by this Court. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the order dated 30.01.2014 passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondent and he has also produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the respondent vide e/f/vz;/24170/o4/2016, dated 03.10.2016, rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the respondent, he is at liberty to challenge the same before the appropriate forum in the manner known to law, if he is so advised.
