ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.4443 of 2016, by order dated 05.02.2016, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioners alleging non-compliance of the order dated 05.02.2016 passed by this Court. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the order of this Court has been complied with the respondents and that after considering the representation of the petitioners, the respondents have passed an order dated 13.07.2017 rejecting the claim of the petitioners. He has also produced a copy of the order dated 13.07.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this present contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, if the petitioners are aggrieved by the order passed by the 2nd respondent, they are at liberty to seek their remedy before the appropriate forum, in the manner known to law, if they are so advised. 22.09.2017 Index : Yes / No Internet : yes / No ssv
