O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents Police to provide police protection by considering the representation of the petitioner made on 14.02.2019 and 16.02.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is one of the partner of M/s. I.S.R.Infrastructure and the land comprised in Survey Nos.305, 350/3B, 351/3D, 308/1A, 1D, 1B, 1E, 1C,1F, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, 4 and 5 situated at Kottaiyur Village, Thiruvallur District were purchased by the partners through registered sale deed on 09.04.2007. The petitioner along with other partners were doing agriculture by planting mango saplings in that land. Therefore, they planned to make iron fence around the land to protect the saplings from cattle. While so, one Ramadoss and Dhakshanamoorthy along with 10 other persons trespassed into the petitioner's land and threatened the petitioner and not allowed her to put up fence. Hence, a complaint was lodged against the accused persons before the respondents on 16.02.2018. But, no action was taken as against the accused persons. The petitioner apprehends life threat and seeks for police protection.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation of the petitioner, investigation is pending.

4.Heard Mr.K.Gowthaman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Raghavan, Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent Police.

5. This Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2019, conduct enquiry with the counter part and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
