2.
The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to disclose the reasons for not including the register numbers 2701004040 and 1001015162 of the Petitioners in the list of candidates provisionally admitted to on-screen certificate verification for the posts included in Combined Engineering Services pursuant to Notification No.10/2022 dated 04.04.2022. 2/5
3.
This Court during the earlier hearing on 06.03.2023 had passed the following self-explanatory order:- "2.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents contends that since the reasons for not calling the Petitioner for interview are for different, it cannot be said to be the same cause of action for entitling to join together to file a single Writ Petition.
3.
In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks time to file separate Writ Petitions.
Post the matter on 08.03.2023."
4.
When the matter is listed today, it is represented that the same Petitioners have filed separate Writ Petitions in W.P. Nos. 7412 and 7414 of 2023 respectively in terms of Rule 15(2) of the Madras High Court Writ Rules, 2021. In such circumstances, Learned Counsel for the Petitioners seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition without prejudice to the rights of the Petitioners to prosecute the separate Writ Petitions filed by them. 3/5
In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the said clarifications. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
