ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Advocate General Assisted by Dr.S.Suriya, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent filed the compliance report of the respondent. The relevant portions are extracted hereunder :- 10.
I respectfully submit that the 5 th respondent in view of the above lapses leading to irregularities has initiated disciplinary proceedings against the concerned erred officials as follows:- Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 against the concerned two retired Block Development Officers. 1.
Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 against the concerned two retired Block Development Officers.

Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rule 17 (b) against concerned one Block Development Officer, who is in service, for his lapses committed during service in his post of Deputy Block Development Officer (Panchayats).

Disciplinary action has been initiated against concerned retired Zonal Deputy Block Development Officer (Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978). 4.
Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rule 17(1) against concerned Assistant Engineer, who is 75% Check Measurement Authority. 5.
Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Civil Services
(Discipline and Appeal) Rules 17(b) against concerned Union Overseer, who is 100% Measurement Authority.

Disciplinary action has been initiated under Tamil Nadu Panchayat Secretaries service Rules, 2023 issued in G.O Ms No.113, RD & PR Department dated 13.09.2023 against Namasivayapuram Village, Panchayat Secretary

I respectfully submit that since the 5 th respondent has taken proper action by appointing a competent officer to enquire on the allegations of the petitioner and initiated departmental disciplinary action against the concerned erred officials, based on the findings of the enquiry officer's report, thereby having complied with the orders of the Hon'ble High Court dated 2908.2024 and 01.04.2025. I pray that the Hon'ble High Court may be appraised of the above compliance by the 5 th respondent and I pray that the Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to dismiss the contempt petition accordingly.

The learned Additional Advocate General also brought to the notice of this Court the charge memo that was issued. 3.
