The present prayer in the criminal original petition is to forbearing the 3rd respondent viz., Director General of Police, Kamarajar Road, Mylapore, Chennai - 600 009 from initiating any police action by labeling the petitioner as unqualified as the petitioner is a registered Indian Medical Practitioner and thus ensure the safety of his profession in the filed of Indian System of Medicine in Ayurveda, Unani and Acupuncture and to his clinic run in the name and style of "Biswas Clinic".

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
