ORDER
This Court, vide order dated 13.08.2024 disposed of the above Writ petition in W.P.No.22444 of 2024 with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the 1st respondent, after constructing a swimming pool with a depth of 18 feet within May 2025 and further directed the 1st respondent to consider the said representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks thereafter, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and this Writ Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to modify the said order by granting extension of time of three years for construction of Swimming pool. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
2. Though such a prayer has been sought for, however, this Court, only based on the undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, it would suffice if
this Court issues direction to the 1st respondent to clarify the training circular No.07 of 2018 dated 21.03.2018, with regard to the depth, diving height and safety norms for swimming pools to be constructed by Maritime training institutions, enabling the petitioner to construct swimming pool as per the guidelines, had disposed of the said Writ petition with the aforesaid direction.
3. While so, filing the present Miscellaneous petition seeking extension of time that too for a period of three years cannot be acceded to and no proper reason has been stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition for grant of time by a further period of three years. Hence, this Court is not inclined to modify the above said order of this Court dated 13.08.2024.
4. Accordingly, this Writ miscellaneous petition is rejected. 13-03-2025 To
