This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue leagl heirship certificate to the petitioner pursuant to the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2020. 2.
The case of the petitioner is that his father died in the year 1998. The further case of the petitioner is that thereafter, the elder brother was given compassionate appointment and he also died unmarried on 10.10.2019 leaving behind the petitioner and his sister. The petitioner made an application for issue of legal heirship certificate on 06.02.2020. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction. 3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner on 06.02.2020 and process the same and make an enquiry with the relevant documents and proceed to take a decision in accordance with law. This process shall be completed by the respondent, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation along with a copy of the application dated 06.02.2020 and a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
