O R D E R

On receipt of the private notice, the second respondent has filed an affidavit, wherein it is stated that on receipt of the order of this Court dated 03.09.2019, the respondent has issued a letter to the writ petitioner on 27.11.2019 to submit necessary documents for further course of action. 1/3

2.It appears that the petitioner has not registered his readiness in availing the service but has given an objection that service connection should not be provided from the existing pole but from another pole. Based on the objection raised by the petitioner dated 19.03.2020, the respondents are not in a position to effect supply of electricity from another pole, which would cause expenses and therefore, in the affidavit, the second respondent has stated that he is ready and willing to grant service connection to the petitioner, if the petitioner comes forward to comply with the Rules and Regulation of TANGEDCO in availing the free electricity connection and withdraws his objection.

3.Considering the affidavit of the second respondent, this Court finds that there is no disobedience of this Court and the delay is due to the objection raised by the petitioner. Hence, the respondents are purged of the contempt petition. The contempt petition is closed.
