ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 10.06.2024, wherein the petitioner has sought for the survey of the subject property and for demarcation of the boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan for the petitioner and Mr.R.P.Muruganraja, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. The petitioner claims right and title over the subject property by virtue of a settlement deed executed in favour of the petitioner on 05.02.2022 registered as Document No.451 of 2022. The petitioner is also placing reliance upon the joint patta that was issued in Patta No.508. The petitioner wanted the survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries and for subdivision in order to enable the petitioner to get a separate patta in her favour The online application was made on 10.06.2024 by paying the necessary charges. Since the 2/4

same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 10.06.2024 and conduct survey in the subject property strictly based on the title document and the joint patta that stands in the name of the petitioner. If there are any other joint owners or rival claims, such survey shall be undertaken in their presence. These directions shall be complied with by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
