ORDER

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Petitioner's appeal dated 22.10.2018 on merits, in time bound manner.

3. As against the Award passed by the 2nd respondent dated 10.05.2017, under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, Petitioner preferred appeal before the first respondent on 22.10.2018. Now the Petitioner seeks direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 22.10.2018.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal preferred by the Petitioner dated 22.10.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
