SESHASAYEE CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.3399 of 2020 IN CRL OP.33903/2019 VIVEKANANDAN [ PETITIONER ] Vs STATE REP.BY [ RESPONDENT ] SUB INSPECTOR OF POLICE, KAVERIPAKKAM POLICE STATION, (CRIME NO. 547/2019) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition imposed on him by this Honble High Court by directing him to sign before the Judicial Magistrate I Walajah, instead of signing before the respondent police in the above said Crl.M.P.No.1399 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.33903 of 2019 order dated 04/02/2020.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.D.PARVENTHAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. C.RAGHAVAN, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1399 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.33903 of 2019 on 04.02.2020 to report before the respondent police on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 19.12.2019 in Crl.O.P.No.33903 of 2019, the petitioner stayed at Madurai and signed before the Inspector of Police, Thallakulam Police Station, Madurai for a period of 30 days and the said order was modified by an order dated 04.02.2020 in Crl.M.P.No.1399 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.No.33903 of 2019 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner was directed to report before the respondent police on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. He further submitted that the petitioner has some difficulty in complying with the said condition and seeks to modify the said condition. 3.Considering the said submission, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the Judicial Magistrate -I, Walajah on every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
