This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2022 and renew the lease period for a term of 3 years.
2. Mr.B.Anand, learned Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondent.
3. According to him, though the lease period expired on April 2021, no renewal has been made. Since there was a default, he has produced the demand notice issued by the Municipality calling upon the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.12,17,977/-Notice has been served upon the petitioner by affixing in the wall of the petitioner's shop. Photograph affixing on the demand notice on the wall has also been produced.
4. It is represented by the petitioner's counsel that he has made a representation by hand delivery. The petitioner is hereby required to send the representation over RPAD, if he be so advised. In the event of any representation received, after payment of the demand notice, the same shall be considered and pass an orders.
