Respondents Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to enable the petitioners to obtain permanent registration of MBBS course with the second respondent by providing them temporary provisional registration certificate with the second respondent and CRRI training during 2015-2016 to be completed before 31st March 2016 in the 5th respondent college or any other approved medical college hospital. For Petitioner : Mr.Kandhan Duraisami For respondents : Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, Additional Government Pleader for R1 Mr.V.P.Raman for R3.

O R D E R

With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioners have come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Mandamus to direct the respondents to enable the petitioners to obtain permanent registration of MBBS course with the second respondent by providing them temporary provisional registration certificate with the second respondent and CRRI training during 2015-2016 to be completed before 31st March 2016 in the 5th respondent college or any other approved medical college hospital. 3.When the matter is taken up on 07.01.2016, this Court passed an interim order in WMP.No.334 of 2016 directing the third respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioners dated 03.12.2015, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subsequently, on 10.03.

2016, the learned counsel for the third respondent/Medical Council of India submitted that third respondent has considered the petitioners representation submitted, pursuant to the order of this Court dated 07.01.2016 and has decided to grant recognition. 4.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the General Body of the Medical Council in the meeting held on 30.03.2016 approved the recommendation of Executive Committee to recognize the MBBS decree for the batch of students admitted in the year 2010-2011. Further, the third respondent in his proceedings dated 31.03.2016, requested the Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Health & FW to issue necessary notification in this regard.

5.In view of the submissions so made by the learned counsel for the third respondent and in the light of the proceedings dated 31.03.2016 issued by the third respondent/Medical Council of India, I am of the opinion there is no need for this Court to pass any specific order.

6. Hence recording the submissions so made by the learned counsel for the third respondent, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition are closed. No costs.
