57 1/2 cents bounded on the North by land belong to Madurai and Perumal South and West by Ayyankovil Lake Canal and East by the Land belonging to A.V.Mohammed Basheer in to a natham land and the illegal assignment of the same in the year 1994 to 19 persons and thereby cancel the assignments made in the year 1994 and make necessary corrections in the mutation records and issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner claims that she is the absolute owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 0.571⁄2 cents in R.S.No.288 No.1.15 Salamedu Village, Villupuram Sub Division No.1, Villupuram Revenue Division, Villupuram District, through a registered sale deed dated 06.07.1990 (Document No.1084 of 1190 on 13.07.1990). The petitioner would further state that she requested the 4th respondent for effecting sub division for the above said property and it was rejected on the grounds that her land has been classified as natham land and it has been assigned to 19 people under the welfare scheme of the Government and in this regard, she submitted series of representations to the respondents, stating that without putting her on notice, such classification has been done and since, no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.Arunkumar Rajan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 22.01.2015, submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the concerned persons and pass orders, as expeditiously as possible and not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. 5 .
