This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent to take appropriate action against the erring police officials attached with the 4th and 6th respondents, who have brutally assaulted her husband Prithigaivasan by detaining him illegally under the guise of investigation based on her representation dated 16.02.2025. 2.The petitioner is the wife of the accused namely Prithigaivasan. On 12.02.2025, the fourth respondent police officials illegally entered into the petitioner's house and forcibly arrested her husband pursuant to the registration of Cr.No.562 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 307 and 302 of IPC and they are orally told 2/5

that they are trying to encounter him.

3. The petitioner's husband is a History Sheeter and notorious rowdy. He was involved in several cases and he got arrested pursuant to the registration of an FIR in Cr.No.562 of 2022 on the file of the 6th respondent. The petitioner's husband was admitted in the Government Hospital, Trichy and undergoing treatment. Therefore, the representation made by the petitioner cannot be entertained.

4. Hence, this Writ petition is dismissed. No costs. However, the 6th respondent is directed to permit the petitioner to see her husband in the Government Hospital, Trichy whenever she wants to see her husband. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.03.2025 Vv To
