This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 17 days in preferring the criminal appeal before this Court against the judgement dated 05.12.2024 made in S.C.No.163 of 2017 on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Hosur, Krishnagiri District.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
