ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.747 dated 27.11.2019, pending investigation on the file of the 2nd respondent. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Cow and Calf which were taken away by the respondent Police was never produced before the concerned Court. This Court on recording the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner directed the 2nd respondent to immediately produce the Cow and Calf before the concerned Court. This order was passed on 22.01.2021. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

instructions submitted that the Cow and Calf were produced before the Judicial Magistrate I, Chengalputtu, in reference No.CP6/2021 dt.29.01.2021.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even though the petitioner had filed a petition for the return of the Cow and Calf, the same has not been entertained till date. In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu, to immediately entertain the petition filed by the petitioner seeking for return of the Cow and Calf and pass orders strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
