This petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR No.0181 of 2017, dated 08.11.2017, registered at Police Station Odiyansalai, Puducherry and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.
2.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendancy of this petition, the law enforcing agency has filed the charge sheet before the competent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court. Hence, without going into the merits of the case, this Court may permit the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet and to file appropriate petition under Cr.P.C. and prayed this Court to issue direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.
3.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, permits the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law as against the charge sheet and to file appropriate petition before the competent Court. If any such petition is filed by the petitioner, the concerned Court shall consider the same on the same day. Since charge sheet has already been filed before the competent Court, this Court directs the respondent police to not to harass the petitioner.
4.This criminal original petition is accordingly disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
