Respondents Prayer:

Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order passed by the 1st respondent in No.52/CC/10/2011 FF (INA) dated 20.12.2011 and quash the same and direct the respondents to issue the Freedom Fighters Pension and arrears along with interest payable from the date of the application given by the petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Central Government Standing Counsel for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3 and perused the materials available on record.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of rejection of the petitioner's request for grant of freedom fighters pension.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 12.10.2017, it was represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner passed away and sought time to bring the legal representatives on record. Even today, no steps have been taken to bring on the legal heirs.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the first respondent submitted that the application of the petitioner was rejected on ground that the petitioner has not produced the required documents.

5. In the light of the above facts, I do not find any merit in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
