The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents not to widen the road situated in the petitioner's land in S.No.74/1D in Marakkottai Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, without due process of law.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication herein. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
