This Application is filed seeking to condone the delay of 60 days in filing the Written Statement.

2. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Applicants/Defendants to 3.

According to him, the delay of 60 days in filing the Written Statement is only due to administrative reasons and that the delay is neither wilful nor wanton.

Since the delay of 60 days in filing the Written Statement is within 120 days (30 days + 60 days) prescribed under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, this Application is allowed, however, subject to payment of costs of a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) by the Applicants/Defendants 1 to 3 in favour of Sri Balagurukulam Primary School, Thirumangalam Road, Villivakkam, Chennai - 600049, within a period of three weeks from today.
