Heard Mr. J.Arulraj, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mrs. R.Anitha, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Petitioner, who claims to be temporarily working as a private school Teacher at Kandigai in Chennai had unsuccessfully contested the election held to the post of President, Kumili village Panchayat, Kattankulathur Union, Chengalpattu District in December, 2021 and the Fourth Respondent, who is working as Hisory Teacher of C.S.I. Anderson Higher Secondary School, Kancheepuram, which is receiving financial aid from the State Government for the payment of the salary to his Teachers is alleged to have canvassed in the said election in favour of a rival candidate, viz., Mrs. Rajeshwari, who contested as an independent in that election. The Petitioner claims to have made a representation dated 07.04.2022 to the First Respondent take action against the Fourth Respondent, but as it did not evoke any response in that regard, this Writ Petition had been filed.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the right of the Petitioner to work out her remedies for other reliefs before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law and he has also made endorsement to that effect in the Court record. In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarification. No costs.
