O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2025 and permit the petitioner to do a protest in the form of "Sit in struggle cum waiting struggle" at every District Head Office of Electricity Board and also at the office of the second respondent on 28.02.2025.
2. It is seen that the petitioner submitted a representation dated 04.01.2025, seeking permission from the first respondent, who is the Head of the Police Department, to conduct a "Sit in struggle cum waiting struggle" at every District Head Office of Electricity Board and also at the office of the second respondent. Though the first respondent is the Head of the Police Department, the local jurisdictional Police has to look into the request made by the petitioner for granting permission. Therefore, the first respondent 2/5
cannot pass an omnibus order permitting the petitioner to conduct a "Sit in struggle cum waiting struggle" at every District Head Office of Electricity Board and also at the office of the second respondent. Hence, this Writ Petition cannot be considered and it is liable to be dismissed.
3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. 27.02.2025 Index:Yes/No kv To
