O R D E R

Challenge in this writ petition is to the order dated 27.10.2014 transferring the petitioner from the present location.

2. This Court taking into account the submission made by the petitioner that initially he was transferred to Panchalam and thereafter to Kadavambakkam, directed the Block Development Officer to appear in person today.

3. Thiru.N.Arumugam, Block Development Officer, Olakkur Panchayat is present in Court today. According to the Block Development Officer, there is a vacancy in the post of Panchayat Secretary at Dhadapuram Village Panchayat and the petitioner would be accommodate there. The petitioner, who is present in Court today, is also agreeable for the said course. The Block Development Officer has made it clear that the charge memo issued to the petitioner would be withdrawn.

4. In view of the affidavit filed by the Block Development Officer dated 17.03.2015, he is directed to pass consequential order transferring the petitioner to Dhadapuram Village Panchayat as Panchayat Secretary. He should also pass appropriate orders to withdraw the charge memo issued to the petitioner.

5. The petitioner is directed to join the transferred place within a period of three days from the date of receipt of transfer order.

6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
