ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose the representation dated 06.02.2023 within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The brief facts of the case are as follows:- The petitioner had applied for the post of Village Assistant at Nariyanthal Village on 15.10.2022 and on 04.12.2022 the examination was conducted and the interview was called on 05.01.2023. Both the examination and interview for the said post was over and keeping the posting as vacant without filling the same. Further, it is stated that before while the District was bifurcating Kallakurichi, it was part of Villupuram and at that time, her husband family property in S.No.615/1B5, Punchai, at Chithalinga Madam Village, for an extent of 0.100 Ares was acquired Page No.2 of 6
for the purpose of the housing plots for the Harijan Welfare Scheme. Her husband family had given the property to the Government.

It is further case of the petitioner that it was informed by the respondents that in connection with providing land to the Government, the person in the family will be considered for the Government jobs. In her family, the property was acquired but till date, no preferential was given in connection with the Government appointment. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has given a representation to the first respondent dated 06.02.2023 and the same was not considered till date.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the authority concerned.

6. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
7. In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the first respondent viz., The District Collector is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons, if any, affording an opportunity of personal hearing, to consider the relevant documents submitted by both the parties at the time of enquiry in regard to the subject matter property and pass appropriate orders on merits, in accordance with law and by following/observing the above principles of natural justice, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation and direction. No costs.
