O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the fourth respondent to make the necessary changes in the revenue records by entering the name of the petitioners in the patta.

The case of the petitioners is that they are the owners of a property to an extent of 2.98 acres. They made a representation to the respondents for the issuance of patta. The fifth respondent, on receipt of the representation, directed an enquiry to be conducted by the Inspector of Bhoodan Board. An enquiry was also thereafter conducted and a report was submitted on the direction of the fifth respondent by the third respondent. Thereafter, there was no response. The fifth petitioner made another representation for issuance of patta. The grievance of the petitioners is that the second respondent by mistake entered the name of Bhoodan board to an extent of 2.98 acres.

The petitioners therefore, gave another representation to the respondents on 14.12.2019. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners on 14.12.2019 and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioners shall give a fresh representation to the fifth respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 14.12.2019 and a copy of this order. The petitioners shall mark a copy of the representation to respondents 2 to 4.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
