The limited prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose appeal filed by her on 23.09.2023 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Chidambaram, arrayed as sole respondent.

Mr.Singh, who accepts notice, has written instructions in Na.Ka.A6/78/2024 dated 07.03.2024 to the effect that the appeal is indeed pending and will be disposed within 15 days. 3.

Hence, purpose of writ petition is achieved and mandamus is issued to respondent to dispose appeal filed on 23.09.2023 by the petitioner after hearing petitioner and in accordance with law, within a period of 15 days from date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
