ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to set aside the order in Crl.M.P No. 32308 of 2022 in CC No. 6942 of 2022 dated 22.12.2022 on the file of the 14th Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008.

2. This Court vide order dated 17.03.2023, directed the respondent to get instructions as to whether CCTV footage produced before the Court has sound or not.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the CCTV

footage is available but there is no audio. He also submitted that the petitioner was served with the CCTV footage, which was available with the respondent before the Trial Court. Therefore, he submitted that the present petition has been filed by the petitioner only to prolong the proceedings.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that there is no legal impediment, and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
