O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed questioning the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.M14/1809/2011 dated 05.12.2011, whereby the petitioner was placed under suspension.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, it is brought to the notice of this court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was reinstated into service on 04.07.2022. In view of the same, practically the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous. However, it is further contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the period of suspension i.e., from 05.02.2011 to 04.07.2022 is required to be regularized in terms of the Fundamental Rules, as applicable to the fact situation, but the respondent has not passed any orders as on date.

3. It is represented that the proceedings that were initiated against the petitioner, which are basis for placing the petitioner under suspension, have already been dropped by the respondent himself, as early as in the year 2020. In view of the same, it is incumbent upon the respondent to pass appropriate

orders for regularizing the period of suspension in terms of Rules.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent to pass appropriate orders thereon in respect of the period of suspension i.e., from 05.02.2011 to 04.07.2022 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous Petitions, if any shall stand closed.
