This Criminal Revision Case has been filed seeking to set aside the order dated 29.12.2022 passed by the learned 14th Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.28872 of 2022 and allow the protest petition filed by the petitioner to secure the ends of justice.

2. The case of the petitioner is that, he was attacked by the officials of Directorate of Enforcement, when he was attending the enquiry, thereby, he made a complaint before the law enforcing agency. However, the law enforcing agency had filed a referred charge sheet, therefore, the petitioner has filed a protest petition before the trial court in Crl.M.P.No.28872 of 2022 and the said petition was dismissed by the trial court vide order dated 29.12.2022. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the present revision before this court.

3. Though very many grounds have been raised by the petitioner, however, when the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, without going into the merits of the case, this court may grant liberty to the petitioner to file a private complaint u/s 200 Cr.P.C or 223 BNSS before the concerned court in the Page No.2 of 4

manner known to law.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed with the above liberty.
