Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to register the document without raising any objection in respect of Flat No.B6, Third Floor, B-Block, Door No.102 (part) Velachery Road, Guindy, Chennai - 32, Paimash No.105/1, Patta No.65, Block No.9, bearing T.S.No.9/1, 9/2 to 9/5, situated in Adyar Village, formerly Saidapet Taluk, now Guindy Taluk, Chennai District.

ORDER

The petitioner has come out with a prayer asking for a blanker order that the Sub Registrar/respondent shall register certain document pertaining to the property in Flat No.B6, Third Floor, B-Block, Door No.102 (part) Velachery Road, Guindy, Chennai - 32, Paimash No.105/1, Patta No.65, Block No.9, bearing T.S.No.9/1, 9/2 to 9/5, situated in Adyar Village, formerly Saidapet Taluk, now Guindy Taluk, Chennai District, without any objection.

2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondent and submitted that the Authority has certain powers where he can refuse registration or at least raise objection and the prayer of this sought cannot be entertained.

3.The petitioner is now required to represent the document to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to enable the Sub Registrar/respondent to raise any written refusal slip, if he finds any justifiable objection to the same.

4.With the above modification, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
