Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to pass an order of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2020 regarding name transfer and grant of patta, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2020 regarding name transfer and grant of patta, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the second respondent/Tahsildar. 3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the second respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks from 21.05.2021. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
