This criminal original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2024 requesting to grant police protection to the third respondent to measure petitioner's property land and building comprised in survey No.327/1A, Aravoor Village, Valankaiman Taluk, Tiruvarur District measuring an extent of 1163 sq.ft (8 kuli) within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.D.Thirumoorthy, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 to 3.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2024 at the earliest. 2/4

In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
