(Order of the Court was made by M.SUNDAR,J.,) After some arguments, Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel on record for petitioner sought leave of this Court to withdraw the captioned 'Criminal Miscellaneous Petition' ['Crl.MP' for the sake of brevity and convenience]. Learned counsel has made an endorsement in the case file and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows: Page Nos.1/3

Learned counsel submitted that the rights of the petitioner or anyone concerned for the detenu may please be preserved for approaching the Government for temporary release under Section 15 of 'The Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber law offenders, Drug-offenders, Forest-offenders, Goondas, Immoral traffic offenders, Sand-offenders, Sexual-offenders, Slumgrabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act No.14 of 1982)' [hereinafter 'Act 14 of 1982' for the sake of convenience and clarity]. This request is acceded to. We make it clear that all the rights of the petitioner, anyone concerned for the detenu and detenu are preserved in this regard.
3. Captioned Crl.MP is disposed of as closed / withdrawn albeit preserving all the rights in the aforesaid manner. There shall be no order as to costs.
