ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation dated 31.10.2025 seeking for revocation of suspension order.

2. Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that while he was serving as a Village Administrative Officer at Thooravalur Village, Vridhachalam Taluk, an FIR was registered against him on the basis of the false complaint lodged by one Velayutham due to personal enmity alleging demand of illegal gratification for surveying certain lands and consequently, he was placed under suspension by order dated 17.05.2025. Aggrieved by which, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 31.10.2025 to the respondents seeking revocation of suspension. However, the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025 and pass appropriate orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

6. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties.

7. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
