ORDER

This Court, by an order dated 18.6.2013, in Crl.O.P.No.15160 of 2013, directed the respondent herein to record the statement of the petitioner and conduct enquiry in Crime No.112 of 2013 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. Alleging that the said order has not been complied with, the present contempt petition has been filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for

consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the statement of the petitioner was recorded as early as on 13.3.2015.

3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion, nothing survives in this contempt petition.

Hence, recording the said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the contempt petition is closed.
