ORDER

To quash the case in Crime No.884 of 2021 pending on the file of the 1st respondent, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in this case, this Court has granted an order of interim stay in Crime No.884 of 2021 on 31.03.2022. However, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed the final report.

3.The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the interim stay has not been extended further. In any event, now having completed the investigation, the final report filed and the same was taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chidambaram, in S.T.C.No.337 of 2022.

In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
