ORDER
This petition is filed under Section 24 of C.P.C., seeking to withdraw and transfer the case pending in H.M.O.P.No.172 of 2022, on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Chidambaram to the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur.
2.When the matter is taken up today for consideration, the learned counsel on either side represented that the parties have settled their matrimonial disputes among them amicably out of the Court. They have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 26.04.2023 to that effect. Accordingly, the Joint Memo of Compromise filed by the parties dated 26.04.2023 has been recorded.
3.Both the parties along with their respective counsel appeared before this Court. As per the compromise memo, the parties have agreed to take divorce on mutual consent, and the petitioner has agreed to withdraw M.C.No.31 of 2022, pending on the file of the Family Court, 2/4
Thanjavur, the respondent has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) towards permanent alimony. On account of the compromise arrived between the parties, cause does not survive in this petition.
4. This Civil Revision Petition accordingly stands disposed of. The Joint Memo of Compromise dated 26.04.2023 shall form part of the record. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
