This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner based on the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2024. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that the complaint given by the petitioner was acted upon and FIR has been registered in Crime No.41 of 2024 for the offences under Section 341, 294(b), 352, 506(2) of IPC and Section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to proceed further with the investigation in accordance with law and file a status report or the closure report as the case may be as expeditiously as possible.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
