CRL.MP.No.3501 of 2020 in CRL.RC.SR.No.53792 of 2019 CRL.MP.No.3501 of 2020 IN CRL.RC.SR.No.53792 of 2019 P.RAJAMANICKAM.,J.

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to condone the delay of 96 days in representing the criminal revision.

2. According to the petitioners, they have filed criminal revision in time but the Registry has returned the said criminal revision on 04.11.2019 pointing out certain defects and their further case is that their counsel has taken back the case records from the court and in their counsel's office, the records were misplaced and only recently, the records were traced out and hence, there is a delay of 96 days in representing the criminal revision. It appears that the said reason is an acceptable one. Hence this petition is allowed.

02.06.2020 Note to the Office:

The Registry is directed to number the criminal revision, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter thereafter.
