ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to dispose of the representation dated 06.01.2022 for the rectification of the error crept in describing the extent of property bearing Old No.37, New No.6, Besant Avenue, Adayar, Chennai - 600 020 admeasuring an extent of 138.5 square meter or 1500 sq. ft. comprised in Survey No.41/1 (part), T.S.No.34/2 as per patta CA No.263 / 87-88, and C.A.No.495 of 2016, Urur Village, No-116,
Velachery Taluk, Chennai in the Permanent Land Register maintained by the Second Respondent and to rectify the error in the revenue records maintained by the Second Respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the property in above said survey number situated at Urur Village, Chennai was owned by one Anantharamakrishnan i.e., husband of the petitioner. Thereafter, he executed a Will in favour of his son one A.Sanil Kumar. While that being so, said Sanil Kumar executed a Settlement Deed in favour of the petitioner i.e., wife of said Anantharamakrishnan. Thereafter, patta was transferred in her favour. The petitioner having come to know that an error has crept in describing the extent as well as the name of the owner of the property in the entry made by the revenue authority pertaining to S.Nos.34/2, 34/3. Whileso, she made a representation to the 2nd respondent dated 06.01.2022 to rectify the error and set right the revenue records. Since the same have not evoked any response, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 06.01.2022 and pass orders on merits within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader for respondents has no objection for said order being passed.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioners representation dated 06.01.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved parties if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
