Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in connection with detention order dated 11.07.2018 and made in vide proceedings in 516/BCDFGISSSV/2018 on the file of 2nd Respondent herein and set aside the same and direct the respondents herein to produce S.Thilagarasu, S/o.Subbaiah aged about 25 years, who is now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal before this court and set him at liberty. O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner is the wife of the detenu, namely, S.Thilagarasu, Son of Subbaiah, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.516/BCDFGISSSV/2018, dated 11.07.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of petitioner in No. 516/BCDFGISSSV/2018, dated 11.07.2018 on the file of the second respondent, is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4163, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 28.09.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
