ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 5 and 7

(3) of Lotteries Act 1998 in Crime No.184 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein found in illegal possession of banned Asssam Lottery Tickets intend to sell to public near VAO Office. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has opposed to grant anticipatory bail for the reason that the petitioner is having three previous cases which are similar in nature. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
