O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to give adequate Police protection to celebrate the Chitra Pournami Festival of Sri Thaduthandanathar and Thaiyal Nayagi Amman Temple at Thaiyur Village from 10.05.2025 to 12.05.2025 on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for first to third respondents submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025 at the earliest.

3. In view of the submission made by learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2025 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
