ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to declare propounding the police-probe into a judicial trial & conviction in STOR.25/09, as being as assault on judicial independence, violative of Articles 14 & 21 of the Indian Constitution and direct initiation of appropriate penal proceedings against police-officers responsible for initiating such a probe for malicious motives.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, no one is appearing on behalf of the petitioner either in person nor through counsel.

Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to cost.
