[ RESPONDENT ] PRAYER : Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent for committing contempt of Court by willfully, wantonly disobeying the final order of this Court in W.P.No.3719 of 2015 dated 13.02.2015.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order and direction issued by this Court dated 13.02.2015 in W.P.No.3719 of 2015. The petitioner's application for grant of patta was being processed and in this regard the petitioner also received a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ reply on 13.04.2015 as regards the status of his

application for grant of patta. Whileso, the petitioner was sought to be evicted from the premises and a notice under section 7 of Land Encroachment Act was issued. The learned counsel would state that since an order of status quo was granted by this Court while disposing of the Writ Petition, the respondent is not justified in initiating eviction proceedings.

2.In the light of the above, respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's request for grant of patta and till such orders are passed, the notice issued under section 7 of the Land Encroachment Act shall not be given effect to.

Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
