Heard the learned counsel appearing for both sides.

2. Alleging that the order of this Court, dated 08.08.2012, made in W.P.No.21730 of 2012 has not been complied with, the petitioner has come out with this Contempt Petition.

3. When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that, in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ pursuance of the said order, the petitioner and fourteen

others were summoned and they participated in the Special Range Promotion Board convened by the Greater Chennai Police, on 10.07.2013, for considering their cases to include their names in the 'C' List of Head Constables, fit for promotion to the rank of Sub-Inspectors of Police, for the year 1991-92. It is further stated that, in the meantime, Tvl.K.Rajagopalan and two others, who were also one among the participants in the said promotion test, filed Writ Petition Nos.18459, 18460 and 18461 of 2013 before this Court and obtained stay order for conducting the proposed Promotion Test. In view of the same, no promotion can be given, is his grievance.

4. In view of the same, I do not find any contempt, in this Contempt Petition. Therefore, this Contempt Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
