to direct the 1st respondent to consider the following soft tennis sports certificates of the years 2015-16 & 2017-18 i.e., a. 9th Junior State Level Soft Tennis Championship for the academic year 2015-16 (80 Marks) b. 10th Junior State Level Soft Tennis Championship for the academic year 2017-2018 (95 Marks) issued to the petitioner and add further 175 sports marks and place him in the 4th place in the provisional sports quota rank list for the admission to the course of Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandary BVSc & AH (5 YEARS), Tamil Nadu Veterinary And Animal Science University, Chennai, for the academic year, 2018- 2019 under Sports Quota, Boys (IN WMP Nos.21245 of 2018)pending disposal of the main writ petition No.17946 of 2018.
(ii)to direct the 1st respondent to consider the Highest achievement certificates submitted by the petitioner as follows 1. 8th State Level Soft Tennis Championship 2014-15 - II place (65 Marks) 2. 9th State Level Soft Tennis Championship 2015-2016 III Place(65 Marks) 3. International WUSHU Championship Form I (Silver) for the academic year 2016-17 (450 mars) 4. 14th State WUSHU Championship 2017-18 I place (95 mars) and accordingly award 675 sports marks and place her in the 2nd place in the provisional sports quota rank list for the admission to the course of Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandary BVSc & AH (5 YEARS), in Tamil Nadu Veterinary And Animal Science University Chennai, for the academic year 2018-2019 under sports Quota, Girls,(IN WMP Nos.21246 of 2018pending disposal of the main writ petition No.17947 of 2018.
Order : These petitions coming on for orders upon perusing the petitions and the respective affidavits filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.SAI KRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.VIJAYAKUMAR, counsel takes notice for the first respondent and MR.SATHISH, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent and MS.SUNITHA KUMARI, learned CGSC takes notice for the fourth respondent and 3rd Respondent not appearing either in person or by on advocate on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- Mr.S.Vijayakumar, learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.Sathish, learned counsel takes notice for the second respondent. Ms.Sunitha Kumari, learned CGSC takes notice for the fourth respondent. There is no appearance for the third respondent.
2. Without hearing the third respondent/Indian Olympic Association, no orders could be passed. That apart, the petitioners have not questioned the Prospectus of the course in question. Hence, granting interim order would amount to stalling the entire process and if at all any other relief is to be granted, the same could be granted only in the main Writ Petitions. Hence, the petitioners are not entitled to the interim relief prayed for in these W.M.Ps, which are accordingly dismissed.
3. Post the Writ Petitions for hearing on 06.08.2018.
