ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners/ A1 and A5 in Crime No..369 of 2021 seeking to quash the FIR pending against them for the offences punishable under Section 387 IPC read with Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act.

2. Though the petitioners seek for quashment of the FIR, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition, however, he seeks for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report at the earliest.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the genuineness of the plea made by the learned counsel for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, while dismissing Criminal Original Petition as having been withdrawn, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in the case and file final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
